About College

       Parvatidevi Kumbhar College of Nursing, is started in the year 2023 under the umbrella of Council Of Education, Kolhapur.
      The location of the college is in the heart of Kolhapur city famous area known as Bindu Chowk, near Mahalaxmi Temple Kolhapur is historical place enriched with agriculture development, milk production, cultural activities and education as well. Great visionary like Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj freedom fighters Deshbhakta Dr. Ratanappanna Kumbhar has tremodous contribution in the academic field, social and economical development of the city and district. Kolhapur city is located on Pune Banglore National highway No. 48, can be reached by rail, road or by air.

      The College is just 2 to 3 kms away from railway station and bus stand and  around 7-8 km from airport.

       The Council of Education is well known for its concern for ‘Quality Education’ in affordable cost for local stake holders.  Parvatidevi Kumbhar College is started with same purpose- ‘ imparting quality education in the field of nursing and prepare globally competent Nurses.

       First batch of B.Sc Nursing it admitted in AY2023-24 and results of 1st semester examination conducted by MUHS, Nashik are encourageous and pooring that we are on right path. In the field of health care deliver, the role of nurse is very vital and crucial.  Efficient and skilled nurses can contribute in reduction of morbidity and mortality rate and overall health of the society.

         The college is recognized by Government of Maharashtra, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and the process of recognisation by optical council and in short time it will get recognization.  At the same time the college is on the way to start Diploma Programme in General Nurse Midwife (GNM) from AY 2024-25.

        And we are sure that the Parvatidevi Kumbhar will contribute in not only preparing good nurses but also imparting values and good human beings also.
